Azerbaijani CEC registers several parties

A meeting of the CEC, held Aug. 31, also registered the authorized representatives of a number of parties. The authorized representatives of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, the Civic Solidarity Party, and the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party were registered during the meeting.

The meeting also made changes to the instruction on rules for filing complaints and appeals to the CEC and constituency election commissions in connection with the violation of election rights, as well as to rules of considering them.

Aside from that changes were made to the composition of some constituency election commissions.
