German Sterligov detained at airport in Moscow
Sterligov might have been detained because his name was on the inter-state wanted list

Businessman German Sterligov has been detained at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport, AzVision.az reports quoting TASS. "He arrived in Moscow from Yerevan at 5 a.m. on Monday and was detained after crossing the state border," Sterligov’s lawyer Artur Airapetov said.

He explained that Sterligov might have been detained because his name was on the inter-state wanted list.

The criminal case was launched on German Sterligov, who committed illegal crimes in sovereign territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, under articles # 281.2 (public calls against the state) and 318.2 (illegally crossing state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, he was sentenced to pre-trial detention and declared internationally wanted
