“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 239 anti-personnel, 140 ant-tank mines, as well as 125 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized from August 15 to 20,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 562 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
