91.8% of votes counted: Ilham Aliyev
The Central Election Commission has announced the outcome of the presidential vote that was held in Azerbaijan on Wednesday.

Candidate of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, incumbent Ilham Aliyev won 84.60% of votes. A total of 2,899,657 people voted for him.

Candidate of the National Council Jamil Hasanli comes second with 5.44% of votes. A total of 185,674 people voted for him.

The presidential vote was held in 5,492 polling stations in 125 electoral districts across the country.

Some 5,145,643 people were illegible to vote in the elections.
