Some 25 people put forward candidatures for MPs in Azerbaijan
Some 25 people have already put forward their candidatures to participate in the election in Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), said at the CEC meeting Sept. 2.
“This time the parliamentary election is expected to be held more intensively in the country,” he said. “More parties and candidates are expected to participate in the parliamentary election this time.”

The authorized representatives of three more political parties were also registered at the CEC meeting.

Thus, some 37 authorized representatives of the Umid party, seven representatives of the Democratic Reforms Party, 12 representatives – the Great Order Party of Azerbaijan appealed to the CEC for registration.
