"Strong Azerbaijan is impossible without strong leadership. It would also benefit the interests of Turkey," said the ambassador, adding that today the relations between Baku and Ankara are dynamic and experiencing a "golden age" that contributes to the development of economic relations between the two countries.
"In the short term, we intend to continue the policy of developing a strategic partnership with Turkey," said the Azerbaijani diplomat.
Next Faig Bagirov drew attention to the re-election of the Azerbaijani president, noting that voter turnout 9 October was very high.
"Re-election of Ilham Aliyev is an indicator of the people`s confidence," said the ambassador.
