  Azerbaijan, Qatar establish Joint Business Council

Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) have signed an agreement on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Qatar Joint Business Council.

The document was inked by KOBIA Chairman of Board Orkhan Mammadov and QCCI Board Member Ali Bin Abdullatif Al Misned.

The joint business council will provide a platform to discuss the overall situation of the bilateral economic-trade cooperation between the two countries and their future directions, as well as promote interaction among entrepreneurs.

The business council will support the initiatives of entrepreneurs, promote the establishment of direct ties between the two countries’ businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises, organize mutual visits, meetings, joint seminars and round tables with the participation of entrepreneurs, and promote the development of economic relations, exchange commercial, trade, economic, scientific, technological, and other information, as well as provide support to the creation and operation of joint ventures in order to further develop bilateral trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar.
