8 Syrian Armenians resettled in Karabakh- Armenian sabotage
Resettlement of Armenian refugees from Syria in Azerbaijan territories is still underway.

Armenians fleeing Syria ,as a rule, are being resettled in Nagorno Karabakh.

Two Armenian families who fled the Syrian city of Kobani following attacks of the Islamic State militant group have arrived in Armenia, Azvision.az reports citing Armenian media.

After fleeing to Turkey from Kobani to escape ISIS attacks, the Armenian families expressed an intention to move to Armenia. Only three Armenian families fled to Turkey from Kobani, and later on two of them-Tovmasian brothers` families decided to settle in their historic homeland. They were met at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport by their distant relatives, reporters, and representatives of Armenian Diaspora Ministry.

The head of Diaspora Ministry Staff Firdus Zakaryan told that the families will be provided with accommodation for 8 members of the two families in Nagorno Karabakh. During the first two weeks Mission Armenia NGO will organize two apartments in close vicinity to each other in Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied territories for the two families .

Armenian government established special working group on resettlement of armenian refugees fled from Syria, issues on their citizenship, creating job opportunities for them.

About 60 thousand Armenians live in Syria, whereas 3 thousand already resettled in Karabakh.
