Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov together with the leadership of the Ministry, as well as with the ambassador of Turkey Ismail Alper Cosgun visited the airfield on which the Air Force of Azerbaijan and Turkey participating in joint tactical exercise "TurAz Falcon- 2015" drills.
AzVision.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense that first hymns of the two countries were sounded, then the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who died for the independence of the country`s martyrs was honored with a minute of silence.
The Minister stressed the importance of such exercises to the national security of both countries and wished success to the participants of the exercise.
At the end of the concert program was was performed, and demonstration flights of aircraft was carried out.
Guests and participants of the exercises had lunch together.
