Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov and PACE President Anne Brasseur discussed ways of developing Azerbaijan-PACE relations and the issues related to the PACE observation mission that will monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting between Ogtay Asadov and Ali Larijani, the speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, as well as issues of economic development in the region were discussed. In addition, the sides exchanged views on the achievements Azerbaijan has made in the spheres of energy and transport infrastructure in the region and beyond.
Ogtay Asadov and Valentina Leskaj, the vice-chair of the Albanian Parliament, mulled bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania, stressing that the construction of the Trans Adriatic gas pipeline, also passing through Albania, contributes to creating new job and development of economy in Albania.
