Azerbaijani boxers Sanan Hatamov and Mehpara Mammadova have claimed their first win at the IBA Youth Men’s and Women’s World Boxing Championships 2022, held in Alicante, Spain.
Hatamov will next face Canadian, while Mammadova to take on Mongolian rivals in the men`s 67 kg and women`s 48 kg weight categories respectively.
The championships, to run until November 26, brought together 684 athletes from 89 countries.
