Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) Ahmad Ismayilov met with foreign journalists on November 28, AzVision.az reports.
Ahmad Ismayilov detailed the guests on the reforms underway in Azerbaijan in the field of media, the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media" and the essence of the media registry.
He spoke about the multifaceted and comprehensive measures taken to strengthen the economic independence of media entities, increase the professionalism, responsibility of journalists and media literacy of the society.
At the meeting, the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgium and Luxembourg, Representation to the European Union Ramil Tagiyev touched upon such issues as formats of cooperation in the field of media and strengthening relations with representatives of foreign media, stressed the importance of increasing the efficiency and positive dynamics of interaction and partnership.
The meeting participants held a broad exchange of views on strengthening international relations in the field of media, the prospects for effective cooperation and development.
