  Uganda studies experience of Azerbaijan

A delegation of the permanent representative of Uganda in the UN and high-ranking officials of the Foreign Ministry of Uganda visited Baku to study the experience of Azerbaijan's chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Issues discussed during the meetings held as part of the visit, included preparations for the 19th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement which is planned to be held in Kampala (Uganda) in December 2023 and Azerbaijan's positive experience on effective organization of chairmanship in the Movement, AzVision.az reports citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. 

The delegation of Uganda also held a meeting with the leadership of the Office of Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan.

Later the guests held the meeting with the leadership of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement and representatives of the Azerbaijani affiliate of the organization and exchanged views on the role of youth in the future activity of the Non-Aligned Movement.
