AzVision.Az reports citing RIA Novosti that the statement came from head of the EU diplomatic mission Federika Mogerini before the start of the two-day informal meeting of the EU Council for Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg.
"While we were concentrating on our eastern borders, where we had the hottest moments of Ukrainian crisis, I was repeating again and again that we must not forget what is going on in Libya, Syria and Middle East.
Today I can say that we should not forget what is going on in the East. Therefore, we will have a free and far-seeing discussion of our ties with Russia, relations and support of our friends in the East, beginning from Ukraine, but also Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia", Mogerini said.
