State committee allocates funds to 10 more religious communities
The State Committee for Work with Religious Formations has allocated a financial assistance to 10 more religious communities.
The first deputy chairman of the State Committee Sayyad Salakhli stressed the importance of such an aid:

"The projects, submitted by the religious communities for the allocation of funds, are aimed at holding events on religious enlightenment, explanation of the essence of religious radicalism and extremism and informing the public about the national and moral values of Islam in a wider form.

Youth must become the main target in implementation of the projects of religious communities, he said.

Financial aid was allocated to 67 religious communities by the decision of President Ilham Aliyev dated November 27, 2014. Of them, 48 are Islam organizations and 19 belong to other religions.
