The January gas futures were at 80 euros per MWh, or about 895 dollars per thousand cubic meters on the TTF index, lowest in Europe since June 13. The figure has been declining since the beginning of last week.

A week ago, on December 20, the exchange price for an energy source rose to 114.33 euros per 1 MWh after an explosion on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod main gas pipeline. Later, the cost of gas began to decline to the levels of early summer.
