Azerbaijan to build 2 new railway depots
The Azerbaijan Railways is working with engineering companies to build two new railway depots, Martin Vaujour, managing director for Russia and CIS at the French company Alstom Transport, told on Sept. 5.
He said one of the depots will be built in the capital Baku’s township of Bilajari, while the second one will be located in the city of Ganja.

“The project’s feasibility study is to be ready around September and October, and then in the near future construction will start at both sites at the same time,” he said.

Vaujour added that the said depots will allow operating and maintaining Stadler trains and Alstom locomotives and diesel locomotives.
