On November 7-11, the "Common Sense" Youth Organization hosted a training course called "Active Participation and Youth" in Sumgait.
The training course brought 21 young people from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Germany together to discuss issues related to social rights in their countries. The participants gained a better understanding of how to be active citizens and were equipped with the knowledge and tools which are necessary to create awareness of social rights in their communities.
Also, participants worked on their project ideas to organise community actions to raise social rights awareness. After the implementation of those local actions, they will meet in Germany to evaluate their projects and share their experiences with each other.
This session is being implemented within the Meet UP! Youth for a Partnership programme with the support of the German Foreign Office and the EVZ, the Remembrance, Responsibility and Future Foundation of Germany
