President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Macedonian President Georgi Ivanov on the Independence Day.
AzVision.Az reports citing the official website for the head of state that the congratulatory letter reads:
"Azerbaijani people join me as I extend my sincere congratulations to you and your people on occasion of the national holiday - the Independence Day of the Republic of Macedonia.
I am convinced that we will further continue our efforts on the way of further expansion and strengthening of ties between Azerbaijan and Macedonia, as well as relations of friendship and cooperation.
On this remarkable day I wish you a sound health, success in activity, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Macedonia."
