  Vardanyan’s escape

Ruben Vardanyan, the so-called “state minister” of an illegal entity in Khankendi, has left for Moscow, according to Armenian media reports. Or, it would be more correct to say he “fled”. But how? After all, the road is closed…

Vardanyan reportedly managed to flee in a truck belonging to the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The vehicle was carrying the unusable uniforms of the Russian peacekeepers. Vardanyan, who got stuck in dirty socks, pants, and who knows what else in the truck, crossed first to Armenia, and from there to Moscow.

Everything happened as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with local TV channels: “They can leave, they can go by themselves, no one will hinder them. They can go under the awning of peacekeepers' trucks or they can go by bus. The road is open.”

Thus, the “Vardanyan project” can already be considered failed. If he wants to return to Karabakh under some dirty burden again, this time it will necessary to ‘give him a dose of his own medicine’.
