"On the initiative of the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, the members of the parliament joined the assistance campaign to help the victims of the earthquake in Türkiye. In addition, we will join the humanitarian aid provided to Türkiye by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation," said Mirkishili.
He said that Azerbaijani rescuers are actively participating in earthquake operations in Türkiye: "The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who are in Türkiye upon the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, rescued 37 Turkish citizens during search operations. Seven aid planes and 14 TIR trucks have already been sent to Turkiye. This process continues today."
