President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received San Marino Foreign Minister Pascal Valentini on September 8.
AzVision.az reports citing the official website for the head of state that the President noted the importance of the presence of San Marino regent-captains at the opening ceremony of the first European Games, their meetings with Azerbaijani officials and exchange of views in the light of development of bilateral ties between the two countries.
The head of state also stressed the importance of developing bilateral ties and discussed a number of issues with the minister.
Pascal Valentini also noted that two delegations from San Marino had visited Azerbaijan over the past months which is the proof of development of bilateral relations.
