`A lot of money has been spent to aggravate the situation in Azerbaijan. Several attempts to destabilize our country on the eve of presidential and to destroy Azerbaijan elections have been noticed`.

Azerbaijan has its own views on international issues and we furnish our opinion without interference. Therefor we achieved a great success and esteem in the world`, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in the meeting on economic issues and the drafting of budget for 2016.


President noted that, Azerbaijan`s point of view on all issues are objective: as defenders of fairness we cannot stand such approaches towards us.Today, changes took place in the world map and indubitably it will continue. Coming to Azerbaijan,our economy is developing, stability has been secured, our international positions has been strengthening.

The dirty scenarios implemented in the Middle East had been drawn for Azerbaijan as well: `Several foreign quarts were discussing possibility of `Arab Spring` in Azerbaijan. They deem it unavoidable. They did many things to destabilize Azerbaijan. Our law enforcement organisations revealed their plans. They wanted to establish another `Maydan movement` in Azerbaijan,to involve young people and destroy their future life. A lot of money has been spend to destabilize Azerbaijan. Money amounted to tens of millions has been exposed, which was transferred to `5th Colon` via illegal channels in order to exacerbate situation in Azerbaijan through several NGOs and bring their own servants to the government.

Moreover, president highlighted that, from the beginning of 2013 this process has been intensified: ` Many attempts to exacerbate the situation, destabilize our country and to destroy Azerbaijan has been observed. I say it openly, I don`t accept it!`

However, the enemies of the Azerbaijani nation could take part in this campaign. Because, Azerbaijan is a globally modern, secular, developing, open, and a tolerant state. Whom do we bother? No one! We set our relations with other states on a principle of mutual respect.They don`t want to see any more a politician who is supported by his nation and relies on it. Fortunately the nation`s choice determines everything in Azerbaijan, not the external coercion.Azerbaijani nation said `no` to that dirty intentions.

Azerbaijani nation supported its government and this support is our main power source. Solidarity between government and the nation is a guarantee of stability in Azerbaijan.
The groups wanting disregard Azerbaijan`s success should know, we do and will always express our opinion independently. We will secure independence of Azerbaijan. We are able to protect Azerbaijan from external threats with this policy.
