President receives Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan
On 22 October, President Ilham Aliyev received the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission.
AzVision.az reports citing the official website of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan that the Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, saying that he witnessed the process of dynamic development of the country over the past years.

The diplomat also praised the work carried out in the country for the preservation of national customs and traditions.

For his part, President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his contribution to the development of Azerbaijani -Japanese relations. The Head of State stressed the successful development of bilateral relations, noted the importance of long-term activities of Japanese companies in Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope for active co-operation of various Japanese companies with our country in the new projects.

The President expressed confidence about further expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan.
