`Over the past days, Armenian leadership and society has been concerned by not only the incidents along the border of Tavush but also the passive stance by the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which has clear commitments to ensure Armenia
The article reads that, the question was discussed privately at the talks between the Armenian and Russian presidents on September 7. The parties made a public call that, the question will be added to the CSTO’s upcoming summit agenda, as well.

`We don`t expect CSTO’s direct military intervention to Azerbaijan, shelling against the settlements in Tavush region. There isn’t such a desire and cannot ever be, as our country managed to silence opposing side. Moreover, increasing the intensiveness of the shellings on the first day of September, Azerbaijan adopted a kind of ‘more sensible behavior’ as President Sargsyan’ paid a visit to Moscow on September 7. But the issue didn’t lose its urgency or principle for us. Armenia has signed a military agreement with Russia, becoming at the same time a founding member of its Collective Security Treaty Organization, expecting its political-military guarantees` - the publication reads.
