Alexei Pushkov: NATO afraid of IS
The best approach to migrant flow is elimination of reasons for them to leave their country, Alexei Pushkov, the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Russian State Duma, wrote on his twitter account.
“NATO continues threatening Russia, however it is afraid of Islamic State”, he said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the proposals on refugee problem will not be effective as they are bureaucratic. According to him, the reason of the problem has a political essence.

Escalation of conflicts in the Near East and Northern Africa led to mass migration of people of the region. Over 400 migrants have appealed for asylum since early 2015.
