Exchange gas prices in Europe drop almost 4%

The cost of gas futures in Europe at the beginning of May 26 trading fell by about 4%, losing another $10 per 1,000 cubic meters from the previous day’s settlement price, AzVision.az reports citing the London ICE exchange.

June (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the biggest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $269.4 per 1,000 cubic meters (-4.8%). Further, they amounted to $272.6 (-3.6%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $282.9 per 1,000 cubic meters.
