Active landslide zones in Azerbaijan named

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Baghirov said that the main active zone is Shamakhi.
Due to the man-made activity of Absheron peninsula, the number of the landslide zones is higher and they become active in connection with the season. Baghirov noted that the ministry prepares weekly bulletins on the situation in landslide zones: `These papers are submitted to heads of executive authorities and relevant structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. During heavy autumn rains, the situation in the landslide zone becomes active. This is a natural process. Some of them are related to man-made reasons. We have not got used work to according to the rules of nature. Therefore, we will have to face problems.`
