“Australia’s long standing policy is Australia does not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent state”, Australian Ambassador to Turkey wrote on his Twitter page.
“Elections” planned for 13 September cannot have any effect on the ongoing peace process, nor on the legal status of Nagorno-Karabakh”, he said.
