US Co-chair of OSCE MG: Armenians and Azerbaijanis ready for peace
Azerbaijan and Armenian sides are ready for peace, US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said in his interview with Voice of America, commenting on the readiness of the peoples of the region to accept peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Warlick expressed his deep concern about the deterioration of the situation and violence in the conflict area.

"We want to help achieve solution and lasting peace through negotiations. It is time for peace, and I think that people will welcome flourishing which will bring peace to region. The region itself will change, if we can achieve peaceful solution," Warlick said.

Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan told the international mediators that they wish intensification of talks, and the mediators will meet with the Foreign Ministers of the two countries within the framework of the UN General Assembly in order to prepare for the next round of high-level talks between Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev.
