Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani.
The sides discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, issues on the OSCE agenda, as well as the current state of the peace process.
The parties stressed the importance of reciprocal visits and bilateral meetings at various levels in terms of developing ties between the two countries.
Jeyhun Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan's efforts to eliminate the consequences of the past conflict, priorities of the post-conflict restoration, reconstruction and reintegration work. The foreign minister drew his counterpart`s attention to Azerbaijan's view on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia at the interstate level with the signing of a peace treaty, which is the main goal. He mentioned Armenia's obstacles and military-political provocations that impede such efforts.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
