Gas prices in Europe jump by 5%

Gas prices in Europe jump by 5%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe on July 3 rose by 5%, around $439 per 1,000 cubic meters, AzVision.az reports citing the London ICE exchange.

August (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the largest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $422.9 (+1.1%).

Further, the cost increased to $439.4 (+5.1%). The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $418.2 per 1,000 cubic meters.
