The team from Azerbaijan took the first place by beating the national team of Germany 6:5 in the final.
The winners of the third and fifth places were defined on the last day of the competitions.
In the first match the team from Italy beat Switzerland 7:5, taking the fifth place in the tournament. The Irish team claimed the third place by frustrating their Spanish opponents.
In the final of the championship Azerbaijani athletes Elchin Djamalli, Tarlan Gurbanaliyev and Silvester Garros encountered the team from Germany. The national squad beat the opponent with the score of 6:5.
The member of the national team of Azerbaijan S.Garros is recognized the most resultative player of the tournament.
The teams from Azerbaijan, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Italy and Spain took part in the European championship held on September 4-12.
