They made 33.1% in the total investments in country`s economy. Compared to the same period of the last year, investments in oil sector have grown by AZN 1.355bn.
By results of 2012 investments in Azerbaijan`s oil sector made AZN 3.648bn ($4.676bn at the current exchange rate).
Investments in oil sector have risen by 17% over 2011.
The growth in investments in oil sector is due to the implementation of such oil and gas projects as Chiraq Oil and second stage of Shahdeniz. They made 23.8% in the total volume of investments in economy.
