The opening ceremony of the Summer Games of Deaf Athletes "We are together. Sport" – has kicked off in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, the Russian Federation from July 23.
Azerbaijan`s hopes are pinned on Anton Goncharov, who will join the bowling competition.
The programme of the competition includes 21sport disciplines including badminton, basketball, bowling, bicycle sport — mountain bike, bicycle sport — highway, volleyball, beach volleyball, freestyle wrestling, handball, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, karate, athletics, table tennis, swimming, bullet shooting, sambo, sports orienteering , tennis, taekwondo and football.
The competition, which will run until August 2, welcomed athletes from 30 countries.
