Ilham Aliyev invited to opening of mosque in Moscow
On September 23, the opening of the Cathedral Mosque in Moscow after reconstruction will be a historic event.
This was announced during a press conference "The opening of the Cathedral Mosque in Moscow," which took place in international multimedia press center of MIA "Russia Today", by the First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council Rushan Abbyasov.

"Just a week later, we will open the door of the complex. This is a very joyful event, a historic event not only for the Muslims of Moscow, but for the entire Muslim Ummah, which takes place on the eve of Eid," quoted him as saying the correspondent of "Bulletin of the Caucasus ".

Rushan Abbyasov told in an interview with "Bulletin of the Caucasus", that the opening ceremony will be also attended by representatives of Azerbaijan - President Ilham Aliyev and Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade.

"We look forward to the representatives of our brotherly people of Azerbaijan. We have sent an invitation to President Ilham Aliyev and Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade for the participation in the opening ceremony of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. Of course, today`s Russia has a large number of Azerbaijanis, who have made a worthy contribution to the construction of the mosque," he stressed.
