Malaysia has always supported Azerbaijan`s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and always will, Ambassador of the Malaysian to Azerbajian Roslan Abdul Rahman said at a press conference on Sept.16.
The ambassador said that in accordance with the traditions of Islamic solidarity Malaysia continues supporting OIC resolutions put forward over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
He noted that in Malaysia fully supports the resolution adopted on 19 June 2014 by the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan.
"We urge the international community to work toward a fair solution to this conflict. Malaysia is the co-sponsor of the UN General Assembly’s resolution No.62/243 on the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Malaysia will continue supporting Azerbaijan with regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh until a fair solution is reached,” he said.
