Azerbaijani schools in Georgia will never be closed, says state minister
Azerbaijani schools in Georgia will never be closed, Georgian State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Paata Zakareishvili told
Democracy prevails in Georgia, and every person can freely express his/her opinions, Zakareishvili said, noting that as a state minister, he guarantees that Azerbaijani schools will never be closed in the country.

The minister went on to add that there is no reduction in the field of education in languages of national minorities, this field should be expanded and every citizen must feel the presence of his language. “Then, they must realize the importance of studying the state language and culture,” he stressed.

The minister emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan for Georgia as a strategic partner. “I wish further prosperity to the Azerbaijani people and state. Azerbaijan will soon hold parliamentary elections and stability will be maintained. Azerbaijan`s successes are important for us and the whole of the Caucasus,” he noted.
