"We want to establish the regional volleyball academy in Azerbaijan," President of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation Shahin Baghirov said at the press conference held prior to the opening of the 2023/2024 season of the Azerbaijan Championship.
“Such academies operate in many countries. We also want to test this experience in Azerbaijan. The idea of the academy has been presented, but the date of establishment is not yet clear. President of the European Volleyball Confederation Aleksandar Boricic also put forward his proposals,” he noted.
