70th UN General Assembly session to bring together 154 heads of state
154 heads of state or government and 30 ministers are expected to attend the 70th session of the UN General Assembly, UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said.
Nearly 9,000 delegations are likely to join the summit, the spokesperson said, adding 485 meetings will be held during the general debate.

As usual, world leaders will use their time in New York and in the UN to have a number of bilaterals, Dujarric said. “Last year there were 1,321 bilateral meetings,” he noted.
