Azerbaijani police tighten security due to parliamentary elections
Azerbaijani police will tighten security measures due to the parliamentary elections.
Deputy Chief of Main Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Himat Eyvazov told about it at the regional conference of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Ganja.

He said that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the protection of constituency and polling stations where ballot papers are kept, the protection during the delivery of the ballot papers from the CEC to election commissions prior to voting, then to polling stations, and after the elections, to constituency election commissions, then to the Central Election Commission.

According to H.Eyvazov, all bodies and regular police of the MIA will tighten security from October 27 till November 2.
