In a tense turn of events following the recent terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, approximately 700 individuals have been evacuated from a hospital due to a bomb threat.

Reportedly, the Pirogov National Medical and Surgical Center received a threatening letter via mail, alerting authorities to a potential explosion. The letter detailed the presence of phosphorus-improvised explosive devices, each equipped with a timer set for 40 minutes. These devices were purportedly placed in four backpacks across several floors of the medical centre, Gazeta.ru reported.

Promptly responding to the threat, authorities swiftly initiated the evacuation process, ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors within the premises. Operational services swiftly mobilized to the scene to assess the situation and take appropriate action.
