Housing issue is among the urgent issues for young people. The statement came from Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Intigam Babayev.
In his interview to 1news.az, Babayev reminded that in this respect President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed several decrees on creation of social mortgage.
According to the deputy minister, its provisions are getting better now.
"We have recently proposed another package under which social mortgage (with low percentage rate-edit.) will be issued not only to young families but also to the unmarried ones. Because young people often raise the issue `first a flat, then a family` at different events", he said noting that the mortgage lending sphere will further be improved in the nearest future.
