  G7 countries call on Azerbaijan, Armenia to adhere to peace process

The G7 foreign ministers called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to adhere to the peace process based on the principles of non-use of force and inviolability of borders, AzVision.az reports. 

In their final joint statement at the end of their three-day meeting on the island of Capri, the foreign ministers of the G7 countries called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to remain fully committed to the peace process to achieve a dignified and lasting peace based on the principles of non-use of force, respect for sovereignty, inviolability of borders and territorial integrity.

The G7 countries emphasized that further escalation of the situation in the region would be unacceptable and expressed their readiness to promote further constructive contacts at all levels, especially within the established negotiating framework provided by the EU and the US.
