Azerbaijani Paralympic swimmer secures European gold in Portugal

Raman Salei of Azerbaijan triumphed on the opening day of the Madeira 2024 Para Swimming European Open Championships in Portugal, claiming a gold medal.

Salei’s outstanding performance came in the men’s 100m backstroke event.
