Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded six foreign nationals with state awards of the Russian Federation "for their great contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation, the development of economic and cultural ties".
The presidential decree says: “Six foreigners, including the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov will be awarded with the Order of Friendship. Another foreign national will be awarded with Pushkin medal”.
