The 7th General Assembly of the Turkic Universities Union (TURKUNIB) commenced under the chairmanship of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). This international event gathered rectors from over 60 universities representing Turkic states, AzVision.az reports.
UNEC Rector Professor Adalat Muradov, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliyev, and other notable speakers addressed the assembly. The event focused on significant issues concerning the future activities of TURKUNIB and reviewed membership applications from approximately 60 universities.
