The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, who is on a working visit to Türkiye in order to participate in EFES - 2024 multinational exercise, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Türkiye, Army General Metin Gurak, AzVision.az reports via the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.
The meeting discussed current state of military and military-technical cooperation, and emphasized the importance of increasing the intensity of joint exercises in order to exchange experience.
In the working visit to the brotherly country, invited by Türkiye's National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, senior staff of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan will meet and participate in EFES-2024's Distinguished Visitors Day.
