Pashinyan declares he will never visit Belarus under President Lukashenko

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he will never visit Belarus as long as Alexander Lukashenko remains the country's president, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.

Speaking in parliament, Pashinyan declared, "I state that I will never come to Belarus again while Alexander Lukashenko is the President of Belarus."

Pashinyan's statement comes amidst growing tensions between Armenia and Belarus, both members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

The Armenian leader believes that Yerevan may reconsider its stance towards the CSTO if Lukashenko apologizes to Armenia or if Belarus withdraws from the organization.
