CMB`s representative: There is no Azerbaijani pilgrim among those who died in Mina
In the area, the majority were those who are from Kazakstan and the Kyrgyz Republic

“There have been about 3,000,000 pilgrims in the area where the tragedy occurred in Mecca”.

“Pilgrims who collected pebbles to throw at the devil have left for Mina Mountain. In the morning, they carried out a stoning ritual. There has been a large crowd before the noon prayer. As a result, some of pilgrims fell, and an incident occurred. The weather is hot, the streets are closed during the prayer and therefore, ambulances cannot reach the area. The journalists in the camp are not allowed to the area. The death toll is likely to increase”, the correspondent reported.

A representative from the Caucasian Muslims Office in the area reports that there is no Azerbaijani pilgrim among the victims. In the area, the majority of the pilgrims were those who are from Kazakstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
